Language is more than just words; it is a bridge to new opportunities and connections. My name is Maartje van Rije and my passion for language and communication started early. Born in Muscat, Oman, I grew up surrounded by diverse cultures and languages. That experience shaped me and led me to a career in which I help others express themselves confidently in Dutch.
As TaalMaartje I'm more than a teacher - I'm a coach, 'language buddy (mate)'. I strongly believe in a personal, bespoke appoach. Read what my course members think of them! After years of teaching at the renowned language institute Regina Coeli (the nuns of Vught), I started my freelancing business in 2023. I teach online private lessons of Dutch, in which I focus on fluency, vocal clarity and practical language skills.
My approach is structured and result-driven, but always flexible to yours needs and adapted to your way of learning. With interactive and atractive learning materials I make sure you're not only learning the language, but actually use it.
